During her interrogation, she reportedly admitted to being in touch with three Pakistani intelligence handlers and showed no remorse for her actions.

"I have no regrets," says Jyoti Malhotra

According to sources familiar with the investigation, Jyoti told police officials that she does not believe she did anything wrong. Despite serious allegations that she shared sensitive information with Pakistan, she was calm during questioning and reportedly said, "I have no regrets."

An official close to the probe said, "Jyoti feels she did not commit any mistake. She believes what she did was justified."

Direct links to Pakistan revealed

Security officials say that Jyoti had been in contact with three Pakistani handlers, especially during a crucial communication blackout period - a time when mobile and internet services were suspended in certain regions due to heightened security concerns. These contacts, as per the early findings, could be linked to a larger espionage network being monitored by Indian intelligence agencies.

"She was actively communicating with handlers from Pakistan even when there was a communication blackout," a source told us. Investigators believe this may have helped her avoid immediate detection and maintain a steady line of communication with her contacts across the border.

Visit to Kashmir raises more questions

Adding another layer to the case, Jyoti had reportedly visited the scenic town of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir around three months ago. Police are now trying to find out the real purpose of that visit. "We are looking into whether this trip had anything to do with her network or if she was passing on any information from there," an official said.
