08/08/25, Vaishali Parekh's stock recommendations today Regarding stocks to buy today, Vaishali Parekh recommended buying SBI, Sun Pharma, and TFCIL, three intraday stocks. 1] SBI: Buy at ₹805, Target ₹830, Stop Loss ₹790; 2] Sun Pharma: Sell at ₹1594, target ₹1560, Stop Loss ₹1620; and 3] TFCIL: Buy at ₹285, Target ₹303, Stop Loss ₹278.

 

He holds many renowned stocks right from large-caps like ITC, Titan, TCS and much more. But among them, Rahul also holds a media stock only listed on NSE. This is called Vertoz Limited.

Over the past five sessions, Vertoz has outperformed benchmark Nifty, giving more than 10% returns. The stock is in focus this week due to its Q1 results. On August 7, Vertoz reported over 66% jump in Q1FY26 net profit on year-on-year.

Vertoz shares have also skyrocketed by a whopping nearly 164% in a little over 1 year since the stock turned ex-split and ex-bonus last year in 2024.

Vertoz turned ex-split and ex-bonus on July 5, 2024. Adjusting to these two corporate actions, it share price on July 5th was at Rs 36.05.

Vertoz Advertising Stock Split:

Vertoz first turned ex-split on July 5. The stock sub-divided 1 equity share with a face value of Rs 10 each to ten smaller shares with a face value of Re 1 each. Accordingly, the stock split ratio is 1:10.

Vertoz Advertising Bonus Share:

Further, on July 5th, the stock also turned ex-bonus for a 1:1 ratio. Meaning, the company will allot 1 free bonus share on every 1 existing equity share.

Vertoz Advertising Rahul Gandhi:

As per the affidavit filed by Rahul Gandhi before the Election Commission of India, his shareholding before the stock split and bonus issue stood at 260 shares in Vertoz.

But thanks to the stock split and bonus issue, the number of shares held by Rahul, rose to 5,200 equities of Vertoz. How?

Taking the 1:10 stock split ratio, the 260 shares of Rahul Gandhi multiplied and jumped to 2,600 shares (260x10).

Then apply the 1:1 bonus issue, his 2,600 shares after the split ratio, will receive another 2,600 bonus shares, doubling his portfolio to 5,200 shares.
