Tata Capital Q2 Results: Tata Group's non-banking financial company (NBFC) arm, Tata Capital, announced its July to September results for the financial year 2025-26 on Tuesday, 28 October 2025. The company recorded a 6.5% drop in its net profits to ₹ 660.61 crore in the second quarter, compared to ₹ 707.05 crore in the same period a year ago, according to the standalone financial statements.
In the company's first earnings announcement since listing on the Indian stock market, the company's net interest income rose 7.6% to ₹5,043.30 crore in the second quarter, compared to ₹4,687.07 crore in the same period a year ago.
Tata Capital Segmental Revenues
According to the standalone financial statements, Tata Capital earns the most from its financing activities segment, which recorded a 7.22% rise to ₹5,412.40 crore in the July to September quarter, compared to ₹5,047.50 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
Apart from financial activities, the company earns from business segments like investment activities and other segments.
The filing data also showed that even though the company's dividend income dropped for the July to September quarter, the firm's rental income increased to ₹120.74 crore, compared to ₹68.98 crore in the same period a year ago.
Tata Capital's fees and commission income dropped 28% to ₹333.08 crore in the 2025-26 fiscal year compared to ₹463.37 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Tata Capital Share Price Trend
Tata Capital shares closed 0.64% higher at ₹330.95 after Tuesday's stock market session, compared to ₹328.85 at the previous market close. The company announced its second-quarter results after the market operating hours on 28 October 2025.
Since the company's listing in early October 2025, the shares have lost 0.03% in the Indian stock market. However, Tata Capital shares are trading 1.01% higher in the last five market sessions.
Tata Capital stock hit its 52-week high level at ₹336.55 on 17 October 2025, while the 52-week low level was at ₹319.05 on 14 October 2025, according to the data collected from the BSE website.
The company's market capitalisation (M-Cap) stood at more than ₹1.4 trillion as of the stock market close on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.
