US futures were trading slightly lower in Asia session. On Wednesday, US share indices ended on a mixed note with the S&P 500 ending near record high. Technology stocks lifted the Nasdaq Composite index.
The Dow Jones Industrial and S&P 500 futures were trading 0.01% and 0.01% down, respectively. The Nasdaq 100 future was trading 0.03% higher as of 7:35 a.m.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.25% to 42,982.43. S&P 500 flat at 6,092.16. Nasdaq Composite rose 0.31% at 19,973.55
The GIFT Nifty was trading 0.09%, or 21.50 points higher at 25,306.50, which implied a higher open for the benchmark Nifty 50. Most markets in Asia-Pacific were trading higher, which will likely support gains in Indian benchmarks too.
Investors will keep an eye on Dilip Buildcon Ltd., Jio Financial Services Ltd., JSW Energy Ltd., Tata Steel Ltd., and Vodafone Idea Ltd. as these these shares may move due to overnight news flow.
The benchmark equity indices closed with gains on Wednesday, led by share prices of Titan Co. and Grasim Industries Ltd. The NSE Nifty 50 ended 200.40 points, or 0.80% higher at 25,244.75, while the BSE Sensex closed 700.40 points, or 0.85% up at 82,755.51.
